I love this product! It's not as good as your regular vacuum, but it is perfect for all the time usage. We have 2 dogs and a cat. I use this at least once a week. It's amazing all the hair it gets after only a day or two! It goes under big shelves, and our couch! - Places we don't vacuum that often. It is noisy, but I put this on before I go out, or while I'm in another room. You really just charge, and press the clean button! The dust pan is not real big. But for me, running the dirt dog once a week is fine. - If I don't vacuum for a while, the pan will fill up and not collect the dirt. I still love emptying the dust pan and seeing how much it picks up. There is a light to tell you how much charge is left. The light changes as it runs. I can do my kitchen, living room and dining room on one charge. Also, you can buy a 'virtual wall' to prevent the dirt dog from going into places you don't want it to go. - I just use a basket or lay a chair on it's side to block it from going where I don't want it to - cheaper than the lasers. All in all - I love this product. If I was Oprah, I'd put it on my favorite things and give one to everyone!

My Dirt Dog is wonderful! The housekeeper said she was amazed that there was almost no doghair on the floor. I have two 50 pound dogs that shed and usually have enough hair to "make another dog" but not now. I empty the Dirt Dog when it finishes running and it is great. I have also used a 12 pack of soda to block off the doorways to areas with carpet. I highly recommend it. I have never worked so little with such remarkable results!

Purchased this Dirt Dog in June on line at Fryes, never worked, called I-robot, they sent me a new battery, still did not work, they sent me a replacement unit (I paid to ship it to them) second unit does not work, I have been on the phone with them a total of 4 times and have not yet had a chance to use this product. Be sure to keep your original packaging in case you need to return the whole thing to your online place of purchase. Whew, I could have saved so much time sticking to my regular vacuume.

I just got my Dirt Dog, not realizing it was for "workshops." I've only used it once in my house since buying it, and was amazed at the pet hair it cleaned up throughout my house (berber carpeting) and wood kitchen floors. It charged up in less than 2 hours and the only thing I did was get the cords off the floor, per other people's recommendations. The thing went from room to room, under tables and chairs, with 3 dogs and a cat trailing behind (the cat ended up running under the bed). The entertainment value watching the dogs chase it was worth the price! I was surprised at how well it cleaned. After 30 minutes, I shut it off and it was going full speed ahead. It went under the parakeet cage and beds too. I hope I'm as happy with it in the future as I was the first night I turned it on. So far I really like it. I didn't think it was too loud as a couple others have said. Would definitely buy it again but I'm hoping this one lasts me a couple of years.

I have a Dalmation who I love dearly... all but his hair which is everywhere! The Dirt Dog is great. Simple quick and it really does hit everywhere and pick up everything. definitely the best for dogs!
