I am very pleased with the Kookey. Yes, they are new and the site is still undergoing development but my kids, ages 4 and 8, have spent hours playing on the site and have had fun dressing their animal and decorating their houses. Unlike Webkinz, the kids cannot enter chat rooms which to me is a definite plus! When I contacted technical support they responded immediately. They also said that a lot of the site features will be fully functioning in late February, 2008.

Kookey's are essentially a Webkinz look alike. Right now the kookeys website is way under developed with most of the games are not functioning properly and 80-90% of the world not accessible. Pass right on by Kookeys and get a webkinz. The webkinz plush toys are made better and their website world and games are much much better than this kooky knock off.

Don't be fooled by the unlimited website access... all it gets you is unlimited access to a website that is far below par. Your kids can play on the site "forever" but don't think they will as the kookey world site is awful. (tech support is also unresponsive)
