Works wonders! December 3, 2008
As an owner of 3 Goldens we often find hairballs floating about the house. Both my wife and I work at the University so we regularly show up to work with dog hair stuck on our clothes and having our students point it out to us. We've used many grooming tools that have failed to remove the dead fur from our pets until we purchased the Furminator. I was quite amazed that the first time we used it we got almost a full garbage bag of fur from our three dogs that I know would have ended up turning into tumble weed in our home or being stuck onto our clothing. The dogs love it because it does not scratch them like the metal bristle brushes (in fact they use to run away every time we try to brush them). Now they gladly run up to us and lay down whenever we are holding the brush. This was a great invention and we highly recommend it!

Wow! A product that actually does what it says! December 3, 2008
I have to admit - I was skeptical. My wife read about the Furminator online and showed me some of the reviews. Typically,what you read and what you get are two different things. Obviously, being the male, I knew I would lose any argument about getting it once she decided that it was the greatest thing invented. Between you and I - she was right. Well, not 'greatest' thing ever, but certainly the best dog product we have ever purchased. The furmintator is easy to use and will amaze you with the amount of hair it will remove in one stroke. We have 2 Labs and both seem to enjoy getting brushed. It is amazing when we are done - the pile of hair is nearly as big as they are (a slight exaggeration - but still a lot of hair). This is easy to use and does exactly what it says. If you have walking hair balls like we do - this is a must purchase.

This is a great product....good for shedding dogs and cats. Truly cuts down on the shedding problem. Couldn't do without it now.

Our golden retriever mix sheds a lot, and this does a pretty good job removing large amounts of hair!

Worth the money. I have a border collie/whippet dog that has short hair and it works great.
