I guess I had higher expectations for this book based on all the hype and sales. However, I found it to just be a good, not great, read. The author did a wonderful job describing scenary, images and emotions; however, the allegory seemed a bit too contrived.

This book is all about a REAL personal relationship with God. The main character is struggling to accept that bad things happen to good people. I recommend this book. I would look at it more as a parable, though, a way of us understanding the dynamics of God through storytelling.

This book is one of the best books I have read in a long time. It is a book that will make you think outside of the box. It will bring you tears of healing and joy.If you are in need of a spiritual awaking and think you have it all figured out then this is a book for you.

This book is a wonderful example of the way God desires relationship with us. The way God, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit relate is awesome. All religion and doctrine aside, he just wants to relate to us.
